The AWEX EMI finished at 1823¢, 41¢ lower (-2.2%) in Australian currency and 40¢ lower (-3.1%) in US currency at sales in Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle this week.
28,140 bales were on offer nationally, compared with 21,739 bales last sale. 21.3% of the offering was passed in.
AWEX reports that the value of the wool sold was $42.1 million ($1,900 per bale), taking the season total to $3.103 billion ($2,153 per bale).
