The AWEX EMI finished 31¢ higher (+2.9%) in Australian currency and 13¢ higher (+1.5%) in US currency at sales in
Sydney, Melbourne and Fremantle this week.
The EMI has risen by 50¢ in the last two weeks and reached 1100¢ for the first time since the same sale last season. The
WMI is up by 47¢ over the same two weeks. The EMI also moved up in US currency for the first time since mid-January.
45,398 bales were on offer nationally, compared with 37,415 bales last sale. 3.8% of the offering was passed in.
